Grier began his insurance carrier in 1983 at the Brodie Insurance Agency in Spartanburg. The merger of Brodie with George L. Johnson & Son Insurance in 1990 eventually led to the formation of George Johnson Insurance in 1995 with partner Phil Compton.

Grier is active in the community serving on a number of boards. He and Rebecca, his wife of thirty three years, have three outstanding children, Page, Mamie and Grier, Jr. He enjoys spending his spare time on the South Carolina coast.

Kyle is a native of Spartanburg, SC and been with the agency since 2002. Kyle specializes in career, combination and volunteer fire departments, restaurants, golf courses and country clubs and social service accounts.

Kyle is married to Carmen and they have three children, Megan, Campbell and AK. Kyle’s interests include playing competitive amateur golf, other sports, cooking and traveling.
